JUDAS ISCHARIOT

The darkened day and the mourning sun
Eulogised for God's only son
The Saviour was condemned with eternal sin
He had to die, win the bargain
Thirty silver coins to Jesus Christ
Seemed aplenty to poor Judas Ischariot
Plotting alongwith the Jewish priests
He chose the money and the agonies.

With a blatant ostentatious kiss
He crucified him and his own peace
His own creator was bitterly betrayed
Cruel silver coins paralled God
His mundane conscience refused silence
And the pardon for good riddance
He had shed that innocent blood
The God's life was mortally sold

His guilt assailed his defiance
The burden concreted powerful confusions
He grieved and hanged himself to death
The impecunious disciple Judas Ischariot
